Client's idea

The client came to us with an idea to build a fantasy tennis platform that would deepen fan engagement and give meaning to following tournaments and players throughout the year.

The concept was based on real-world tennis performance:

Users would create fantasy teams made up of professional players
Earn points based on match statistics
Compete in public or private leagues
‍

Unlike existing solutions, the product was not meant to be tied to a single tournament or event, but instead support continuous play across the tennis calendar.

A key part of the vision was education. The client wanted users to discover more about tennis players - their careers, performance patterns, and risks rather than focusing only on top-ranked stars.

During discovery, it became clear that fantasy tennis is an underserved niche. Current products fail to support year-round play, and do little to help fans understand the broader tennis ecosystem.
